Members Poltergeist Posted March 14, 2008 Members Share Posted March 14, 2008 i'd save up a little more and buy an MIA 5'er... or you could buy that one, get a nice setup, and find a brand of strings that give you the best tension possible on the B string - but if you really need a 5th string, i'd probably recommend you to search elsewhere... people rave about the 5 string G&L's, which is the next bass i'm gonna buy, so you should probably look out for those.... on that price range, the best, most solid B strings i've played were on the Schecters... just my 2 cents...
