Members yuujin Posted January 22, 2008 Members Share Posted January 22, 2008 Hi all,I have a CIJ 62' RI Jazz. I am deciding between the Bill Lawrence J45 with Q-filter and the Villex V2JSC pups. Function wise they are similar, both with mid-control and awesome tones.I have heard the Bill Lawrence in person and felt that they had very good tone without EQ and had the clean fat sound. I recently also read about the Villex V2JSC and all I heard was the sound clips. I was wondering if anyone can give me a more detailed description of the Villex V2JSC sound as compared to the Bill Lawerence J45 with Q-filter?
