Members FromAbove
I don't know who made the stuff but we used to drink warm Goebels. It was bad stuff but being on the tight budget, it did what we needed.

Members bbl
Wait a minute - they still brew Anchor! Not sure if you're serious. Can't find it there? It used to be one of the top micro brews back when there weren't as many (with wide distribution). Not sure how popular it is outside of here now. I just thought it was overpriced back then. Now it's one of my faves.

Members Wanderlusterer
I used to love the Raspberry Ale from the store Burkhardt's had in Medina. A girflfriend/roomie of mine used to bartend and she would bring home gallon milk jugs of it right off the tap and I could drink it like water....soooo....goood. Members bnyswonger
There were several beers in NY state where I grew up that were from smaller breweries - Utica Club, Piels, Rhinegold, Ballantine come to mind immediately. The names are still out there but they've all been bought by Miller etc. and are not the same.

Members TechBrother
I miss the DeGroen's Brewery in Baltimore. They started brewing the Marzen in DE but it tastes like {censored}! That Marzen was a meal in a beer!
Members bnyswonger
Isn't Utica Club owned by the FX Matt Brewery? What I'm saying is - the labels still are out there, but they're traded around like baseball cards...and most wound up consolidated and lose whatever individuality they had. I remember when Strohs was actually pretty good.

We've been friends forever, but had a pretty big falling out a few years back. I haven't spoken to her since...
