Members tylytle
Damn Dan! that looks fantastic! I love the neck. Now would you stop giving me G.A.S???
Members Jugghaid
Summer of 2001. The guy said it is in mint condition, very minimal, if any, player wear. Ive owned the 55-02 and loved the feel of the neck..it's just the spacing was too wide. This 4 string will hopefully be a keeper. I honestly don't see why it wouldn't be. Dan I remember that 55-02. That shoreline gold is gorgeous bro. Never seen one with a PJ setup before. Hopefully this will be "the one". Give us the low-down once you get it. Members jasper383
I was watching that one on ebay. I was surprised it didn't come up here or on talkbass as a topic of discussion/GAS. Wow is all I can say. I'm a big fan of p/j's, too. You may have just landed the ultimate.

Members guitargod0dmw
That's a really sweet bass! The wood is amazing on it. I love birdseye with a passion. If I could get an entire bass made from birdseye...I would! And I will...one of these days. Not the body wood...but the facings at least.
Members ToeJamFootball
Can't say I'm a big fan, but, it is a PJ I'm sure it will sound killer.
Members justinbass
2001 Lakland 44-94 in shoreline gold with jazz width neck. Volume and tone control for each PU (passive), 7.5 pounds; basically the exact bass I was looking for. Holy Hell! I never knew that existed. Wow. Nice score. I guess you found the answer to your "What is the best P/J bass?" question/thread.

Well not right away, of course you're going to be too buys drooling at first to take pics, then you'll be too busy playing that fine bitch. Members bnyswonger
Very, very nice. I don't care for most of the standard Lakland configurations, but I could definitely work with that.

Members Kakona
I emailed him and asked what his price was, or what he wanted to get for it and he said "if someone offers 1700.00 shipped....so I did. With the sale of the Lull and the Meatball, it's in my budget.Dan Just goes to show, it never hurts to send that message to a seller and ask for a price. Good luck with it. Looking forward to reading the review.
Members RSBro
You're almost as bad as I was in 2007. Hopefully I'll be contented for a while. With these two axes, you can't really improve anymore. Just add to!
