Members Thumper
Fort Stevens http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_179.php Fort Clatsop National Memorial http://www.oldoregon.com/visitor-info/fort-clatsop-national-memorial Head north across US 101 across the bridge and check out Ilwaco and the Long Beach peninsula. There are some decent seafood restaurants in town. It's a nice drive in decent weather. It might be a bit soggy this week.

Members dravenzouk
You could get yourself arrested, that's what I did the last time I was there. If you're not into that kinda fun, I'd suggest just heading to the coast and cruising around lonely beaches. I love the Oregon coast in winter - great surfing (really). While in Astoria, definately eat at the Columbian (I'm assuming it's still there). Best breakfast in town. Great little atmosphere, interesting folks who run it, definately not your run of the mill chain-restaurant. Funky, hole-in-the-wall, place. Tell 'em I said howdy. Members willsellout
Yeah i'm going to go over to the Columbian Theatre tomorrow night and watch "Walk Hard", eat some food and drink some beer. I love the idea of movies food and beer at the same place:thu:. Tonight I'm probably going to go check a flick out and grab something to eat at the Wet Dog. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to go eat at the Columbian Cafe as I'm in training at 8 every morning. I'm here for a two day intensive suicide intervention training. Not the happiest of topics but it gets me out of the hell hole that is Coos Bay. Dan

Members walkerci
Come to Manhattan, I'm here until Friday PM. It's easy. Take any train to Grand Central or Lexington/53rd or whatever in mid-town. I work until about 7PM every night. After that is cool.
