Members djpatb
Anyone know of a good place to go to find an intonation screw for an old Ibanez ATK300? I could order a whole new bridge from Ibanez, but I really only need the screw that goes from the back of the bridge into the saddle. Thanks. Moderators Kindness Posted January 29, 2008 Moderators Share Posted January 29, 2008 allparts.com often is a good source for things like this. If they don't have it, let me know and I'll recommend some other sites.
Members djpatb
Any local hardware store? Yeah, thanks.I might be able to find the right size, but they never have chromed screws there.
Members guitargod0dmw
We have a small nuts & bolts store called The Nutty Company...they have everything. Maybe you guys have something similar out there? Otherwise...as Kindness said...allparts usually has a bunch of stuff. Stew Mac does as well... Members Perfessor
I'd try the corner type hardware store. You might be surprised. A screw that size that's stainless would be hard to see from even a foot away. What side of town are you on?
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted January 30, 2008 CMS Author Share Posted January 30, 2008 It might wind up easier to replace all four screws than find a chrome one. Stainless or black powder coat should be fairly easy to locate.
Members misterhinkydink
Keep in mind it's likely metric.
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted January 30, 2008 CMS Author Share Posted January 30, 2008 Keep in mind it's likely metric. Pretty sure it is. Take one of the others with you to the store to match it. Use the gauges they usually have somewhere in the hardware display to get the size right. If you screw it up you'll really be in a bind:badump:.

That's what I'd do - give you a chance to spruce up your bridge a bit, and check out your intonation at the same time - and should'nt cost more than a couple of dollars, if that... - georgestrings
