Members Lefo UK
I am trying to find some information on adjusting the double truss rod on my Ibanez 6 string. This is the first time i have come across a double truss on a bass and i want to make sure that is balanced and not pulling unevenly.Unfortunately there is diddley squat info on the ibanez website or with the leaflet that came with the bass so i was hoping some of the more learned amongst you may be able to share any experience you have had. Members 82Daion
I know this is kind of imprecise, but you just adjust the rods evenly-whatever adjustment you perform on one, you perform equally on the other. If your neck starts to twist ( ), adjust one rod or the other as necessary to bring the neck back into proper relief. This is why I hate dual truss rods. Members sunburstbasser
It isn't set up like a Ric double system is it? On those, you loosen the rods, bend the neck where you want it, and tighten back up. Or something.
