Is there anything more classless than sour grapes from the winner?

I hope to all that is holy you're kidding...

You really think the rest of the television and media-receiving world cares? :) That's all we've heard from Week 1 of the damn NFL season! I hope this kinda stuff never ends, because had the Pats won, it never would have!

With all of the Tom Brady > everyone else threads that we've seen all year long, hearing how the Pats were better than everyone else and how ESPN and NFL network has been nothing but a Pats highlight reel all season, a little bit of David vs Goliath smack talk is almost deserved. While it must not be great for a Pats fan to see that, I don't think that the video expresses anything that most of the football watching nation isn't already thinking.

Here's another song parody done to the same melody:

How come you're always such a fussy young man

Don't want no Captain Crunch, don't want no Raisin Bran

Well, don't you know that other kids are starving in Japan

So eat it, just eat it

Don't want to argue, I don't want to debate

Don't want to hear about what kind of food you hate

You won't get no dessert 'till you clean off your plate

So eat it

Don't you tell me you're full

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Get yourself an egg and beat it

Have some more chicken, have some more pie

It doesn't matter if it's boiled or fried

Just eat it, eat it, just eat it, eat it

Just eat it, eat it, just eat it, eat it, ooh

Your table manners are some cryin' shame

You're playin' with your food, this ain't some kind of game

Now, if you starve to death, you'll just have yourself to blame

So eat it, just eat it

You better listen, better do what you're told

You haven't even touched your tuna casserole

You better chow down or it's gonna get cold

So eat it

I don't care if you're full

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Open up your mouth and feed it

Have some more yogurt, have some more spam

It doesn't matter if it's fresh or canned

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Don't you make me repeat it

Have a banana, have a whole bunch

It doesn't matter what you had for lunch

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

If it's gettin' cold, reheat it

Have a big dinner, have a light snack

If you don't like it, you can't send it back

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Get yourself an egg and beat it (oh lord)

Have some more chicken, have some more pie

It doesn't matter if it's boiled or fried

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Don't you make me repeat it (oh no)

Have a banana, have a whole bunch

It doesn't matter what you had for lunch

Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Oh, and speaking of sour grapes, the Patriots fans are sending a petition to Commissioner Goodall stating that the clock wasn't run fairly in the last 1:40 of the Superbowl.

I totally remember that. The Giants were huddling up and the clock was stopped when it should have been running. It ran down to 1:19 or something and they put 30 seconds back on the clock, and it was running. I remember wondering how they could have known where in the heck the clock was supposed to be. At most, I think that the Pats would have had 5 seconds more, something like that but that possibly could have been one more play...if the officials even had it wrong. It made me go "hmmmm", at the time though.

The clock didn't run out on the Pats. They turned the ball over on downs.

And. That video was funny.

Knowing that they had another play could have determined whether they would have put more effort into getting a first down instead of going for it all on 3rd and 4th, that's all I'm saying. And I'm not even sure that the officials got it wrong so keep that in mind, I just didn't understand how they were getting it right. Then again, I didn't have direct access to the guys upstairs who were pouring over the film to get it as close as humanly possible.
