Members RSBro
You rang? hey mang! Ok so I have a GS410 on the line for $300 but he wants $100 for shipping. And then a GS115 for $400 and wants $75 for shipping. What do I counter with? Are hauling both of these around really worth it? I have been using 212's recently, but, these cabs plus my new AG500 would decimate most, if not all, I'd ever need.
Members guitargod0dmw
Well, I think the $400 for the 410 isn't too bad, but the $475 for the 115 is steep. They are heavy cabs, so I can imagine the shipping being somewhat pricey...and that sounds about right. I'd probably try to beat him down on them...maybe about $400 for the 115? I'm not too sure actually. I also depends on the condition of the cabs. With those prices, I'd be willing to bet the 410 isn't in as good of shape as the 115. I got mine for a killer deal so it's hard to say...it was $1500 for both cabs and my DB359! I just had to pick it up... As far as tone goes, I think they sound great. I can see why some people say they have a slightly scooped sound, but I always liked them regardless. They are fairly clean sounding, similar to the Edens...but obviously a little different. When I played the AG500...it was through DB's, so I can't compare.
Members RSBro
yeah... 1500 for all 3 is pretty sweet, I'd just have to say! It's two different cats, so I'm trying to negotiate with both. But I'm assuming you have zero volume or tone issues with your GK pushing both of those, right? The cabs sound(ed) great with all of my heads...the 359, the M2K, and the GK. They are able to handle the GK pretty well too...which I had the both volumes at about 12 noon...which is seriously loud. Members RSBro
Cool!Well I'm gonna see what I can do with the 115, but the 410 seems like a pretty good idea. Crap... I just remembered that 410 is prolly 100lbs +, or right around it huh?

Maybe you should re-evaluate your rig based on this. I hear 12's don't attract the crazies.
