Members Renfield
I am not motivated to go digging, maybe one of you will already know the answer and can help me with a small dilemma. What is the official thing for a seller to do if the buyer states the item never arrived after over 5 weeks? There is no tracking number because the value of the item didn't warrant it, it was shipped USPS reg mail. Do they refund the money paid? Say, "Sorry dude, you're SOL?" Members Rivers
In the UK the seller would make a claim from Royal Mail and refund the buyer's money. Don't know if it's the same where you are.
Members t3ch
I wish I could help, but the last time a seller didn't deliver on a product, I got {censored}ed and no one cared, so I apparently don't know what I'm doing. Then again this was also like 8 years ago.

Then again this was also like 8 years ago. It's only $23, not sure if it's worth the grief to even ask for my money back. Conveniently, he's one of those sellers that won't leave feedback until he gets it. Despite the fact that it was paid for about 3 minutes after the auction ended. I won't leave him a negative, he's done nothing to deserve that, it's not his fault it went missing. But if he doesn't at least refund me, I think it earns a neutral, what do you think? Members Rowka
You sure he actually sent it?
Members Renfield
You sure he actually sent it? He can't directly prove it no. Other than taking a few days to reply to messages early on (before the auction ended) he's been a pretty straight shooter, seems like he's on the level, but no, can't prove it. He raises an interesting argument when I asked what was up. "just for the record: this is not a bogus auction for a 19$ plus 3.81$ item" In other words it wouldn't be worth it for that little. Wouldn't be worth it to rip me off? Or wouldn't be worth it for me to rasie a stink over?
Members Transmaniacon
I thought that sellers could no longer leave feedback? Tracking is essentially the sellers responsibility. So, unless he can provide proof that it was shipped and it is the fault of the carrier, a refund is in order.

The guy seems on the level, he's not done anything to piss me off, but I will be asking for a refund if I don't see it magically appear by the end of the weekend when I get back from the tradeshow out of town. If he doesn't give me my money back, then I'll leave feedback to suit. Again, nothing harsh or mean, just honest that I didn't get my goods for my money and he wouldn't honour the incomplete deal.
