Members Änglagård
Anyone got som suggestions for stomp-box eqs for bass(besides the good old Boss GEB-7)? What about the mxr m-108 ten band thingy...mxr says its good on bass as well as guitar(in a leaflet I got with my new mxr Blow Torch; looking forward to rehearsal tonight is putting it mild:)) but in their advertisment its just "guitar this, and guitar that" To me its straight out horrendous that the guitar guys always get a myriad of cool stuff to choose from, but I guess we're all accustomed to that by now anyway. Moderators ThudMaker Posted August 26, 2008 Moderators Share Posted August 26, 2008 Look for a used Trace Elliott SM7. It's an 18v pedal. One side has a stomp that brings in your choice of 2 different pre-shapes and the other stomp switch is for the graphic eq. In a dumb moment I sold mine. Simple economics. Supply and demand. Wannabe guitarists are a huge market. there is a huge demand, so supply springs up to fill it. Bass is a much smaller market, so comparatively little effort is put into filling the need.
