Oldest one is Aydin, he's almost 3, and the baby is Andrew, he's about 7 months now.

My sister is 5'2" and about 115lbs, and her husband is like 5'10" and 150lbs. Their kids are HUGE.:D The last time I talked to my sister, she said that Aydin was pushing 3 feet tall. Jesus. And the kids eat normal diets, with lots of fish (they live in Alaska).

I wish they lived closer...

I hate to burst your NFL bubble, but 36" at 36 months is decidedly on the low side for height in boys.

I'll have to ask her how tall he is, I may have my number wrong. I know he's above average height.

And it doesn't burst any bubbles, it's not like I'm pinning anything on him being tall.

Only your NFL hopes!

Cute boys, though.

Size does not an NFL lineman make. I'm 6'6", 350 lbs, and strong enough to do this:

I didn't even play in college.

Size alone doesn't make an NFL lineman. It's necessary, but not sufficient. Speed is also necessary, as is intelligence, despite the "stupid jock" stereotype. Finally, there's desire. It takes a lot of work, so you have to want it.

So, why didn't you play in college? No desire?

Nope. I got my state Championship ring in High School, and that turned out to be enough for me. I did go talk to the coaches at Virginia Tech when I got there, but when I told them I was a defensive lineman, they told me that they'd turn me into an offensive lineman (which I had also played in HS).

Now, when I lived in Charlotte, we lived just a few houses down from the right guard for the Panthers. He had just retired from the NFL at 35 years old, and he had so many leg and knee problems that he couldn't take his children (4 and 2 years old) for a walk. I didn't want that for my life.

Fair enough. Sometimes people forget that all decisions have consequences. You took that into account.

I was well aware. I went ot a school whose colors are maroon and orange, so the knee braces worn by the offensive line are all bright orange. It's hard not to notice that they are all under the age of 24, and yet already are wearing braces...

I don't know if this has been brought up, but bottlefed (as opposed to breast-fed) kids get HUGE. their bodies can't absorb the various contents of the formula correctly (the fats, sugars, proteins, carbs, etc... and they all react differently to diff formulas. Formula fed young-ans alot of the time are over fed as well due to it's readily available nature, as well as other factors.

It's not really that bad, they're not going to grow up to be morbidly obese or anything, I was just commenting....

Sorry, didn't mean to get "new dad" all over the forum :)

your nephews are precious!

I've also noticed that bottle fed babies are chunkier. I've also seen some chunky breastfed infants too. I breastfeed mine, and she is SO skinny. She eats everything in sight too. Hopefully this means she has a high metabolism, unlike her mommy
