Members Incubitabus
its 4:15 AM here, and I can't seem to get to sleep. There are 3 main reasons for this: 1) (and most likely) I slept in til 1pm today, so I'm not really pushing myself to stay awake. 2) College football gets into full swing tomorrow (My Hokies vs the ECU Pirates on ESPN at 1pm Eastern). 3) I have a gig tomorrow night at a vinyard in Northern, VA. Its a private event, which is why I didn't gigspam, but I'm still pumped, all the same.

The last 6 months or so I've been pushing to move to days... in the end of May I was given the 'weekend days' shift that is Fri-Mon 7:30am to 6pm + OT. Well last week I got the official email of my start date

And,I'm working harder for it! Not to mention I'm 30 years older!!! Lol Know what I mean, man?

Members 78pbass
my 7yo had some kind of gastro thing that's woken her up both last night and tonite (morning?) - both on nights after gigs taht left me wanting, but unable to get fast asleep. Members gonzobassman
In 78 I got a job making Snap-On Tools.Damn good job,but I quit to go on the road.Dad nearly quit talking to me.I've done well in sales, but that is nothing but stress.I'm working for a company that makes erosion netting products right now,but won't be for long.I mean they wanna pay ten bucks an hour, and they think they bought you,not hired you!It seems like all companies are like that nowadays. Yea,I can relate.Gotta gig tonight,Gotta borrow an amp to play it,mooch a ride to,and from, and if I don't coordinate everything perfect,if one of all these variables slips through the hoops, then WHAM! I've screwed the pooch!!!

Luckily I was able to move out of my last employer (Management style was no unlike an abusive husband ). My current employer (just over 2 years now) is a great place to work.
