By definition, shouldn't a fudge packer be able to pack fudge? I mean, if they couldn't pack fudge, why would one label them as a fudge packer?

In addition, I fail to see how the title of this thread relates to the content of the post. How is someone's dishonest dealings related to a hypothetical question concerning a confections merchant?

I'm personally debating if it's worth the effort to look up the link to the "in before the lock" gif, because I know darn well as soon as a mod sees this, it will get deleted entirely. I smell a banning on the horizon.

Last time I tried a in before the lock gif, it ended up posting something telling people to make fun of me for hotlinking. Probably not worth it....

Yeah, I had that happen before on something, so I saved the file and put it on my own server. I'm just lazy, but since someone did the hard work for me, I'll add a +1 to this:

This guy is mildly psychotic.

 

Ok, so I'm selling an acoustic combo on talkbass. I specify that it's for local pickup only in the New Orleans area. This chucklehead comes into the thread and says:

 

"can u deliver to 92056?

 

thanks"

 

I say, "Sorry, Cali is too far for me to deliver." Giggles, if you want to call them that, are had by one and all.

 

Then, someone who is from Tenn. pops in and asks the same question. I reiterate that the amp is available for anyone who wishes to come to New Orleans, but I can only deliver within an hour of New Orleans.

 

The guy from Tenn. then asks if I would ship it to him. I think about it, and offer him a shipped price. He agrees and paypals me the money. End of story, except this chucklehead left left goosey decides to send me nasty messages and calls me a "fag" in the for sale thread I made.

 

So, yeah, I forwarded his nastiness to the mods at TB, so he will likely be banned from there. Will he be banned from here? I dunno, that's entirely up to the mods.

I've bought/sold/traded dozens and dozens of times on these and other forums around the internet. I try really hard to make deals go down smoothly, and have always offered good deals in order to move stuff. Left Left Goose has absolutely no business questioning my trading ethics.

 

On talkbass I have 4 positives, accrued in just a month or so of posting and trading over there. Here, I've made literally 100+ trades. All of which went down smoothly.

I've had good dealings with FiC. Seems fairly solid. Definitely not TOO bad a guy, if he's not tip-top.

 

Why wouldn't I be "tip-top?" I've agreed to send you an additional $20 dollars for a bass I already received from you? :rolleyes: That's pretty much the tip of the freakin' top, in my book. :facepalm: If it's not, correct me if I'm wrong. :cry:
