Members vanlatte
Checked out the Harley 105th last weekend. The amount of bikes in town was staggering. Also caught BOC at one of the stages. And what a collosal dissapointment. They had so many catchy songs but the first 80% of the set was a bunch of snoozers nobody ever heard of. Godzilla was the first one I recognized, then Dont Fear the Reaper. Then it was over. Ugh, I never thought I would say this but I should have followed my friends over to see Puddle of Mudd. Last time I saw them I was disappointed as well. (and I am a fan) They were lethargic on stage and carried over to the crowd. I spent most of the show at the bar. Members Jugghaid
I just saw them a few weeks ago up in Breckenridge. They were never my favorite band, but they played their stuff pretty well IMO. They sounded like BOC to me.

Members Roswellian
Rhythm Method is a kick ass band for sure. I've seen them a couple times but I have to tell you they are pretty rude and inconsiderate to other acts. My band played prior to them at St Francis Days. We were on at 12:30 - 4:30 they were on at 7:00. I was there at 11:00 to set up the PA and RM's light show guys were already there and had most of the light show on the stage already. I figured that was pretty considerate to set up well in advance to avoid upstaging or disturbing the band that plays earlier but I was so wrong. These wankers continued to fiddle around with the robotic lights and stuff WHILE we played and often walked up onto the stage to fiddle with stuff. It was unbelievably rude. I figured that these guys were just a company that RM hired but again I was wrong when the rest of the band and stage crew showed up at 3:30 and started staging stuff WHILE we played. They unloaded and pretty much distracted our audience for our entire last set. When we did finish they were so gung ho to get their stuff ion stage that they made it difficult for us to get our stuff down and we are a tiny little 4 piece band with small amps. we can usually clear the stage in less than 15 minutes but it took us a bit longer since we had to trip over there entire 12 man crew. They had 2 1/2 HOURS to set up. Why did they feel it necessary to be so disrespectful to us. I don

Members mike fitzwell
What a bunch of dooch bags!!!! That is beyond rude. Just hearing that is enough for me not to go out of my way to see them again. I guess they really think a lot of themselves. I would have said something to them afterwards. Can't say I've ever heard of them. They must not travel north of MKE much.
Members Roswellian
I don't think it would have made much difference to say anything to them. They were too preoccupied with themselves for it to have made any impact on them. I do take comfort in knowing that while we may not have been paid as much as they were I'll bet you a set of strings that I got more money for the gig than their bass player did. We split our pay 4 ways... they must have had to pay 10 crew at least then the band minus agent fee. It has been a very busy summer and these guys are the only bad experience we had sharing a stage. I'm ready for a break in October where we are down to just 8 gigs.

Members John Swartz
Well, the two songs that I recognized sounded like BOC. Everything else was like "Huh? WTH is this?!" None of: Are you ready to rock Goin through the motions Nosferatu Black Blade Vertan of 1000 Psychic wars We gotta get out of this place Searchin for Celine Just a bunch of sappy ballads that nobody ever heard before, as evidenced by every single person sitting down until Gozilla/DFTR Well, I've been to several BOC shows over the years, and must confess I am familiar with most of their discography. "Goin Through the Motions", "Nosferatu", and "Searchin for Celine" were all recorded in the mid-70s and I don't believe have EVER been played by the band live (they were certainly never staples in BOC's concert sets). "We Gotta Get Out of this Place" is a cover song that was only done briefly in the 70s (yeah, it closed out one of their best albums of all time, *Some Enchanted Evening*, but again was not exactly a concert staple). "Sappy Ballads"?? Perhaps you refer to "Then Came the Last Days of May" - a very cool track from their first album, which HAS been a live staple in their shows for over 30 years. "Black Blade" and "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" - would be very cool choices for sure - they actually make an occasional appearance into BOC's sets, but unfortunately not often. "R U Ready 2 Rock" was for many years their set opener, but that has been replaced usually by "Stairway to the Stars", another classic from their first album. With BOC these days, most folks at their shows are either die-hard fans that know their entire repertoire (and admittedly are at times frustrated that BOC's live sets don't change much from year to year - then again, other than 2 albums, all of BOC's catalog is from the 70s and 80s), or they are people that know at most 3 of BOC's songs (namely, "Don't Fear the Reaper", "Godzilla", and "Burnin' For You"). Also, some of BOC's classic sound is gone due to changing band personnel. Despite still having some talented musicians in the band (including recently having Rudy Szarzo playing bass), only Eric Bloom and the immortal guitar-hero Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser remain from the line-up that created about 90% of BOC's catalog.
