Time for the Party Cart, AV style!

Perhaps a different Party Cart than you were expecting...

I'm a condo dweller, so I'm looking for a rolling cart to move my new mixer, guitar multi effects pedal, and other playing and recording bits around when not in use.

 

I was thinking of a plastic AV cart like the one listed below, but would appreciate your ideas and alternatives.

Not only does it look cool, but you can use it for other things later.

I looked at the local Target for something like that, but it looks like they only sell that online...

That's a good idea. I need a dolly. I don't know why I never go out and buy one. You;d think after climbing staircase after staircase with this gear I'd just break down and get one. [/cheap bastard]

Target has a lot of stuff only online.

I think I saw them at Lowes or Home Depot.

 

Might be worth a call to investigate.

I have a cart just like that in my classroom at the college.

 

While it's not stylish, it's very durable. I also like the one posted from Target.

Note: the shelves are "connected" to the legs via a plastic shim and gravity, so if you put gear on that, and then try to load it into a car by grabbing the shelves, the shelf you are holding will come loose, and everything will fall to the ground. You can alleviate this with some well-placed super glue or possibly lock-tite, but as-is, it's a pain in the ass to deal with.
