Members no-logic
I have a Greco Ric clone that has a nice low profile plastic treble pickup cover on it. It doesn't get in the way while playing and I'd like to keep it on. But the chrome is in bad shape. Does anyone know if something plastic like this can be rechromed? And/or where I can have it done? Members catphish
If it's truly chrome plating, it can be done. You'll want to strip off all the chrome and have it re-plated. As to where it can be done, most plastic manufacturer's will have the means to do it. I'm sure there are a few places in Milwaukee. Try Thomas register to find a local house. You're looking for someone who does plastic injection molding.
Members Thornton Davis
You can always buy a new one from RIC online and keep your fingers crossed that it will fit. Or for that matter, look for one on Ebay. TD
Members misterhinkydink
Pick up a Hemming's Motor News and you can find places that re-chrome plastic.
