Just kind of seeing what kind of price people would want to pay for what I have.

This is a greenish blue Fender Jazz fretless that was played by Justin Chancellor from the band Tool if you are interested. The bass was manufactured in Mexico in 2003, it's just kind of a lone possession for me. I have no documentation....video, photos, or anything. This bass "has not" been played live/during a show. I bought it off of a great friend of mine who lived in Los Angeles and is a long time friend of Dany Carey "Tool's Drummer" and Justin played on this bass a little in his own time.

Thanks,

Joseph Cramer

if you wish you can contact me @ skyglo_joe@yahoo.com - thanks much

bassesofalessergod - Yeah, it's highly understandable. If I can't get what I want out of it then I am just going to keep it in the case in my living room - it's a nice addition to the room. It makes it better knowing the history of the bass - 1 owner and all. Not much to the bass for sure.....a mexican jazz fretless......blah, only thing I like about it is Chancellor played it, that makes it good enough to hang in a case in my living room. haha

Sorry, but zero documentation, no videos or anything. It's just another tall tale in the eyes of, oh... the entire planet. Your bass is not worth a penny extra compared to any other MIM of it's style. Sorry, cold hard fact there.

Even if JC did play it, so? He didn't own it, he touched it. Meaningless in terms of added value. Just being honest. If "touched by celebrity" meant anything, the sidewalks of Hollywood would be stolen all the time. Every guitar in GC would be bought up because someone must have touched it at one point and added their finger grease to it as well.

Man, you can be so harsh in type. Throw some smilies in there or something!

skyglo_joe: In my experience an undocumented cool tidbit like that will help the sale, but it wont up the price. I hope things turn out differently for you, though and best of luck selling your bass.
