Members Renfield
I'm still waiting for the 360 reissue. I know it's coming. No, no it's not. Of all the amps that Acoustic could reissue, why the hell would they pick that one? Seriously, who of any repute would ever been caught dead playing it? :poke:
Members Thumper
Willsellout has the head. I checked out one of the combos at the local GC, and it's a nice amp for cheap---portable, decent tone and nice features for the price.
Members brotherbassj
I could not get any real THUD out of the b200...but look at the stupid rigs I play........I demo'ed one at GC through both the 15 and 4x10 matching cabs, when demo'ing wireless units....didn't really care for the high mid tone I got, but maybe I dialed it in wrong???? Members fingeringam
played the 100 and found it hard to dial in a playable tone with an active schecter stilleto but i got a killer tone with a squier VM j FL
Members Super Bass
I'm still waiting for the 360 reissue. I know it's coming. I read on another forum that its going to be released by another "Acoustic", there are two companies that have the right to use the name and image apparently. This other company is Acoustic USA. Members Rhythm Junky
I used to have a 360 back in the '70's. It had that audible tuner on it that you could vary the frequencies of sounds. We piped it through the PA and I made it sound like a siren and we called out the local volunteer fire department. That's something to be proud of.
Members B-Bottom
I read on another forum that its going to be released by another "Acoustic", there are two companies that have the right to use the name and image apparently. This other company is Acoustic USA. (afaik) It's my understanding that the Acoustic amps out now are owned by a company that owns Guitar Center and have nothing to do with the originals, except for the name. The original Acoustic company will be releasing new Acoustic amps on their own.
Members tenoken
Im in the market for a new bass head, and at Guitar Center today I played the Acoustic b600 ($499) through the Acoustic 8x10" ($599). It sounded pretty good, but I wasn't completely sold on it. I wanted to do some more research on the new Acoustic line. Opinions on the b600? I'm trying to replace a GK 700RB. Is it true that Guitar Center makes these Acoustic heads and cabinets now?? Please tell me it's not Carlo Robelli or Guitar Research....
Members Super Bass
Carlo Robelli is a Sam ash brand afaik? not sure about guitar research. But GC having the current Acoustic amps made in China for them.

But GC having the current Acoustic amps made in China for them. Guitar Research is either Sam Ash or Guitar Center's brand. Looks like Acoustic is yet another in-house brand. Something seems cheap/dirty about buying gear made by the megastore.
