Members Thumper
Both are good amps. Based on my own experience, I'd go with the Nemesis.

Members Thumper
have you played both?what made you say the nemesis?thanks I haven't payed that particular Peavey model. I've played a TKO and a couple heads, and they were good amps. I gigged a Nemesis NC 112-P combo as my main rig for several years. It sounded great, had nice features and never let me down. Members Flatball
don't know the Peavey but I had the Nemesis 210 and loved it. Wish I still had it to use as a practice amp.
Members mlwarriner
thats what i was thinking too, but idk the ones i was looking at were going a helluva lot closer to 500 bucks, and i've not ever heard a bad word about them. if i hadn't picked up my trace combo, i was going to get one. but needed a gigging amp before i had enough cash to get one. Members bluedogaudio
I've owned a few of their amps, and have vowed to never own Peavey gear ever again. I actually tried a couple of their basses this past week and hated them. The construction seemed okay, but the neck felt cheap and the tone was awful. I've never liked any of their products, including PA equipment, guitar amps, etc.
Members Bryan316
The Peavey will sound like any other Peavey. Honky, and weak rumble. The Nemesis is gonna give you the tone you'll really want. It'll take you a bit to learn all its controls and dial what you like, but once you find its sweet spot, you'll never go back.
