Members jonjohn
I am thinking about getting one.does it need the mod?If so does anyone have a schematic for it?
Members solderjunkie
I'm sure there are mods online with schematics;) Mine is a Guttermouth that I bought used. I compared it to the stock BM that is on my guitar pedalboard, and you can tell some good work was done. The gain is smoother, like the peaks are closer together if you were reading it on a scope. The bass carries much better, and the bass/treble knobs are much more responsive (you can dial in a lot more tones with it). It's much nicer in the "mids" range... Pretty much +1 on what he said, I also own a GM modded Bad Monkey, it sounds much fuller and snarlier than the normal model unmodded. I'd recommend performing the upgrade

Members solderjunkie
really? i had no idea you had one of my pedals.cool I now have TWO of your pedals... this Yammie distortion sounds really fat and cool with my Strat. My P-bass overdrives it a little too much to use with my bass rig, but it sounds awesome with my guitar rig.
