Members In Absentia
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081007/ap_on_re_us/fundraiser_trial Sounds incredibly sketchy to me that they are delaying this. Totally unacceptable. If this guy has dirt on someone that might be president of the USA, then he needs to be pushed now. What is to prevent Obama from pardoning him after that fact? Nothing. However, can he be trusted to spill the truth? I mean, he IS a criminal. He'd say whatever he could to avoid jail.

Members Crescent Seven
Bush should be worrying who is gonna pardon him after all the lies and gross misconduct he has handed us I think he's trying to figure out who exactly is going to successfully prosecute him. Members ezstep
...the lies and gross misconduct.... Sounds like a true politician! Can we reelect him? Besides, lying in office and gross misconduct are nothing new and nothing illegal...just ask Bill. He raised the bar, before he was disbarred. I've known about the ties, but it seems Rezko is wanting to roll over on politicians, possibly even Obama.

Members JeffBass
I'm waiting for the same thing actually. A crazed lone "knifeman" will somehow get within knifing distance of Rezko. It will be like what the Clinton's did to James McDougal (stuck him in solitary confinement and denied him his heart medicine because he was singing about Whitewater). Get ALL the dirt out there and do it NOW. This is when it gets fun. Like the WWF. FTW.

His sentencing is being delayed, in order, apparently for prosecutors to work a deal to get him to talk about whatever it is he's got. Bit premature to assume he's actually got anything on Obama, but it doesn't appear that the aim is to delay his talking.

Rod Blagojevich, Obama may just get a glancing blow, if any at all.

It's also possible he will have damaging info on the Governor of the state of Illinois. Even most of the Democrats around these parts don't care much for the current governor.
