Members chunky-b
I actually tried to use the search function. Anyone on here know anything about the Peavey T-Max Bass Head? CL shows one near me... I don't remember hearing much about it on here... Ad says it is something like 500 Watts for $350?
Members 1tallbassguy
That is a very nice amp IMO.Has a great "modern" tone IMO.The price is a little high though IMO. IMO should be about $250.
Members bgranger
I still use mine. Great sounding amp-tube and solid state blendable preamps. Its only 300 watts but its the loudest 300 watts I've ever heard. $250 is a more reasonable price. It is a bit heavy though.

Members georgestrings
I've been gigging with one for quite awhile, now - they're great heads... $350 is not unreasonable, IMO - I've seen them go for more than that on ebay... That being said, I have 2 of them, and got them both for under $300 - but that was after looking for awhile, and jumping on them when they came up... The T-Max is a 2 channel hybrid, much like Genz-Benz GBE 600 - they are 2 ohm capable, and are rated either 500 or 550 watts @ 2 ohms(I have one of each)... I run mine at 2 ohms all the time, and in a loud hard rock/metal band, hooked up to a 210 and 410(both 4 ohms), I never have to go above 1.5 on the Post Volume... Mine have been stone reliable, and are pretty versatile tone-wise... Hope this helps, and feel free to PM me any questions, if you want... - georgestrings
