Members Billystrat
The Squier Classic Vibe Jazz I was at GC and they were closing out a MIA Jazz with S-1 for $650. I was not in love, but thought it was too good to pass on. I told myself I'd play ever Jazz bass and if the MIA was the best I'd get it. Well about 2 minutes with the Squier and I realized it owned the Fender. They really do feel and play like a vintage Fender. They don't have that cheap feel to them like some of the budget stuff. The Squier was also heavier and have much more output and low end.

Members Billystrat
lucky my GC hasnt got them in yet there so guitar/drum heavey its sick in due time! Forever my GC's bass section sucked. I'm talking budget line GK, Schecter, Ibanez a few $1500+ Fenders and Ernie Balls and then sub $200 junk. Every time I went in I asked "when are you getting ____ in stock?" Usually got "Well uh we could order it for you" Then slowly they got some better stuff in. So just complain to them. They're a huge corporation. There's no excuse they can't stock something then just pass it on to another store if it's not moving.
