Anyone see any good horrors lately?

I want to see The Strangers. I also saw a preview for one where a whole building was condemned and people were locked inside, and they were being attacked by something. That looked pretty cool too.

It's hard to come across some decent scary flicks, anyone got any for me? I'm big into Exorcist, Emily Rose, The Ring/The Grudge (Japanese versions), that kinda crazy/creepy stuff. I've been digging zombie movies lately too, there seem to be a massive slew of them the past few years.

Also, no one better mention Saw. Saw is NOT a horror movie. It's a {censored}ty movie made just for gore. I don't give a crap about gore.

Which ones have you already seen?

As far as horror goes, a lot of the time some of the creepy ones are not even classified as horror. Seven and Silence of the Lambs were pawned off as "Psychological thrillers" but are two of the best horror movies I can think of offhand.

Quarantine, my daughter gave it a pretty good thumbs up.

well, I do like Saw, and hate ghost movies, so not sure we can agree on some suggestions:poke:

I did see a week ago a movie called Midnight Meat Train, starring Vinnie Jones that was pretty good. A gory movie though, which is what I love.

I've seen Midnight Meat Train a few times, and I'd recommend it. Aside from that, though, there are no newish horror movies that I can recommend. I'd like to see Quarantine, though.

In regards to the 2 movies mentioned in the OP, I would not recommend either. The Strangers was just very boring to me, and the 'scary' parts of Quarantine were so poorly done that everybody in the theater was laughing hysterically. Also, the acting in Quarantine, imo, was just piss poor.
