Members Jugghaid
Buddy of mine sent me a link to this The Sacramento County Republican Party has removed images from its official Web site that compared Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama to Osama bin Laden and urged people to "Waterboard Barack Obama."The Sacramento Bee posted an image it said was captured from the Web site that showed Obama in a turban next to bin Laden. It said: "The difference between Osama and Obama is just a little B.S."County Republican chairman Craig McGlashan did not immediately respond to a telephone message left at his law office by The Associated Press on Wednesday.A spokesman for the state Republican Party, Hector Barajas, says the party asked Sacramento GOP officials on Tuesday to remove the offensive material. http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/15/local-gop-web-site-removes-images-comparing-obama-osama/

Members hi.flyer
Not any more repulsive than what Gary Trudeau just did to Palin, and he's national. Apples and Oranges. Trudeau is a cartoonist and an independent American citizen, not a representative of the Democratic party.

Members i_wanna_les_paul
That's just silly. Osama has a beard. I think the confusion could possibly come from the fact that Osama has the turban and Obama has Durbin.

Not the same IMO either. Holy {censored}, did I just agree with hi.flyer?

Members Jugghaid
What in the hell does "waterboard Barak Obama" mean? Waterboarding is a form of interrogation that many people (myself included) consider torture.

Moderators ThudMaker Posted October 15, 2008 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2008 isnt that what "interrogation" is supposed to be? Nope. There are plenty of ways to get information. Based upon evidence it's thought that torture victims information isn't as reliable as that of detainees who are questioned appropriately.
Members y-o-y
Waterboarding is a form of interrogation that many people (myself included) consider torture. Torture is such an ugly word. Members birdboy7007
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/torture So, your argument for interrogation being torture is that torture is a form of interrogation? There's a fallacy there... :poke:
