I had to do another one of these, cause so much has happened now that the season is really underway.

Let me start with this:

There has been much talk in the pre-season and beyond, about the cowboys, Patriots, Chargers, Packers, Jets, Etc.......... Ad Nauseum, to be honest. Even my Eagles got some major preseason hype they have yet to live up to!

But now, after 5 weeks......... The Tennesee Titans, who no one mentioned are 5-0!!!

Props for that!

Go Titans!!!

So did Miami, which beat SD. That win doesn't prove much, IMHO.

Nope. Gotta string them together. Denver just needs to quit turning the ball over and they will be fine. :(

We still essentially have a 2 game lead on San Diego due to the tie breakers and I think they have a hair tougher schedule that we do.

How about a little love for the Bears offense.......if the defense could of suck it up a little they coulda been 6-0...........

That's the difference between Bob Babich and Ron Rivera. With Rivera the Bears would be 6-0. Now I'm waiting for Lovie to finally cry "Uncle" but I'm guessing that will never happen. I think he's a good guy and all, but these coaches are horrible game day schemers. from a defensive standpoint

We shall see.........
:D

You guys did look a whole lot better against NE though.

It's nice to finally have some competition in the AFC Worst. :D

I have to agree with Thud... beating NE isn't saying much. But the defense finally played well.

Now it's Denver's turn to beat up on NE. It's partly a battle of bad offense (NE) vs. bad defense (Denver). Something's got to give. :D

Chargers are at Buffalo.

Buffalo looks good. We get them later this year. New Orleans isn't too bad either. We squeaked that one out. :D

The squib kick with how much time was left on the clock, was just plain STOOPIT!

Just unbelievable call. Considering it would take the return man nearly 6 seconds to run the ball back to where they squibbed it, the Falcons would have had time for one hail-mary pass. After the stupid squib the defense played a soft zone on the pass play. Three guys over there and only one tried to cover the receiver, and he was late!

Wait just a second...The Falcons led most of the game and played fantastic. Give props where they are due, Falcons won the game. Squib kick is a good idea if it works. Keep the ball in the middle of the field and force a last ditch pass with a young QB. That plan works 95% of the time. Falcons played a better game all around.

I'm not saying the Falcons didn't play good, their young QB had a hell of a game.

But with that amount of time, try and kick the ball out of the end-zone, or rely on your special teams which have been good all year. don't give them the ball on the 40 and play a soft zone leaving the sidelines open.

I think that they were playing it safe with Norwood have had the big return on the last kickoff. Like I said, 95% of the time with 11 ticks on the clock the Bears make that same call and leave the feild with a win.

I disagree, it was a stupid call... Pretty plain and simple. Norwood isn't that explosive, and even if he had a good return, they wouldn't have been any worse off.
