Members Hearafter Posted October 17, 2008 Members Posted October 17, 2008 I think it was Tbroom, or maybe Kindness (I honestly can't remember) took up a collection, and was going to donate gear to some lucky HCBFer... what ever happened to that idea?
Members t3ch Posted October 17, 2008 Members Posted October 17, 2008 Money got collected, and a member was helped. What is your question?

Members jonathan_matos5 Posted October 17, 2008 Members Posted October 17, 2008 didn't go to Tim in WV or something like that?
Members solderjunkie Posted October 17, 2008 Members Posted October 17, 2008 I have no money to spare, but I would donate something. A Kepur strap and some Schallers? Pick a member and let's go!

I offered up a ton of stuff from my parts collection with the intent of giving any proceeds I could scrape together to t3ch for his mom. Didn't have a single taker.

I think I was in the middle of moving when it happened (I did donate, btw), and I didn't get to see the outcome.I'm not trying to start another one, I just never got to hear how the last one went.
Members Renfield Posted October 17, 2008 Members Posted October 17, 2008 Dude, shipping on a gigbag is Send me a list of your spare parts. I wouldn't mind starting a P-bass project. Fair enough. I am in much better health (despite fighting off a cold) than I was the last time I had a weekend that I could try and do this. Yet again, I'll try to get things happening. My PC crashed theo ther day and I lost Photoshop for good, won't reinstall anymore, tried everything, so I need to find another way to resize the images, but I'll get on it this weekend if I can.
Members xOriginalNinjax Posted October 17, 2008 Members Posted October 17, 2008 No hurry. I've got two weeks till I can purchase stuff. But I'd love to get ahold of a P-bass body and parts and neck eventually. I wanna dye a P-bass green...trans. green. Bwuahahahaha.

Members Thunderbroom Posted October 18, 2008 Members Posted October 18, 2008 For the record, I have had nothing to do with spearheading any fundraiser on this board though I have donated to a cause or two here on the forum over the years.
