Members fetfet
Really interested in these two new amps from Acoustic, looking to order one, but I need something transportable. Should I get the B100 for less tonal variety, but a slightly easier schlep, or the B200, with more tonal options, but harder to move? If you have anything good or bad to say about any of these amps, please speak up. Thank you. http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Acoustic-B200-200W-1x15-w-Tweeter-Bass-Combo?sku=482902 http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Acoustic-B100-100W-1x15-Bass-Combo?sku=482900

Members prosigna
I played the little Acoustic combos about about a year ago. There was no seal between the speaker cabinet and the electronics. When you played you could hear the air whistle past the gaps i the control plates. I hope they have addressed that problem. The B100 looks like it could have the same problem as the B20 (or was it a B30?). The B200 looks like the cabinet for the speaker and the cabinet for the electronics are separate. Members NoirAbattoir
I had a B200 and I still own the B20. They're great sounding amps for the dough. I imagine the weight difference between the 100 and the 200 is minimal. Go for the higher wattage.
Members fetfet
I think they've fixed that problem.

Members Crescent Seven
Should I worry about the weight? Get Casters? 75lbs ain't {censored}. Casters are a good idea for any big combo, though. C7
Members fetfet
I know 75lbs is nothing, but since I'm a weakling, casters it is.
Members Thumper
Go for the B200. 100 watts won't do much for you in most band settings. As for weight, consider getting this. My rig = Traynor YBA 200 tube head (45 lbs), Avatar 1x15 and 2x10 Neo cabs (40 lbs or so each), three basses, pedal board, gig box, 2 mic stands and a Hercules instrument stand. I can haul it all in two trips with this bad boy.

Members shakiroin
Anyone? HI, I tried both at guitarcenter.... no doubt for around $100 more I got the B200 more power specialy on the low end notes. I have an issue whit a hum hissing noise with this amp even with my bass unpluged and all the pots down, that's someting i need to find out about since i didn't notice it on the store but is way too loud and is anoying specially for practice. I just put this amp B200 on my scale at home It came out with a reading of 61.5 pounds, now this thing is bulky and has 2 handles on the sides but that's just good enough to take It out of your trunk and drop it on the floor. From there I definitely will recomend the casters. Good thing is the sockets are ready you just have to get them and pop them in. Good Luck, feel free to email me with any questions shakiroin@hotmail.com
