Members walkerci
So are you looking for a combo or (cab and amp)? I wouldn't rule out Neos just because they are Neos.Definitely give them a listen. All my cabs have Neos and they go plenty low.I suspect that cab tone has much more to do with the box and port size/shape than whether the driver has Neo magnets. With your budget, I would definitely look at the Bergantinos. They have a new line of Neo cabs too.
Members T. Alan Smith
What kind of playing situations will this rig B 4? No fan of MB cabs- too dry sounding to my ears. Nor am I a fan of the overly smooth sound Epi's cabs. I'm a big fan of the Berg sound. I recently played thru their neo 4x10" and I still say it's like SWR done right. If your interested in MB, compact & lightweight, I strongly recommend the LMII with the Berg AE410. Dreamy. Just, dreamy.
