Members Armchair Bronco
I have 3 kids, and I taught them a great scam for scoring extra candy during Halloween. Here's the "scam" -- no matter what candy is being offered up by the homeowner, you pretend like it's your favorite candy in the world; it makes the homeowner happy, so they'll usually give you extra handfulls of the stuff."Snickers? Are you kidding me? I *LOVE* Snickers! They're my favorite! Man, I'm so happy I came to this house! Thanks a lot, mister!" Inevitably, the dude'll say quietly, after the other kids have left: "Hey, kid: if you like Snickers so much, why don't you take an extra handful or two? Go ahead!" The kids take turns "doing the scam" at each house (since it only works if one kid -- the last one in line -- says it). Everyone wins, too: the kids get tons of candy, and the homeowners think they picked the best candy in the world.
Members Funkee1
I bought the fun sized Milky Way...but they are for me, not trick or treaters +1000! There's about 9 kids who'll be trick or treating in our complex, and it's gated, so I bought 23 bags! Just kidding. I only bought 6.....

I live in one of the best neighborhoods in Albuquerque so the kids come from other neighborhoods. Their parent bring them and drive their cars along with them from house to house. Members Incubitabus
A follow-up to my first post: I found the last bag of Sour Patch Kids/Swedish Fish at the grocery store tonight. 50 individual bags. I'll add that to the Skittles and Starbursts (minus mine and my roommates' take) and I think we're set!

Members brotherbass
I really hate Halloween, not for anything weird, but because every year at about 10pm we will have 10 -15 pick-up trucks with the beds loaded with kids from other neighborhoods. I know some of these kids and they live in one of the largest mobile home parks in the area. Tons of candy there, this is just greed.
