Members Jim-Bass
I recently got back my M-Audio Recording Interface ..had loaned it to a friend for 2 weeks, it felt like 2 years. I was sooo glad to get it back But now I've got a musical writers block ( I only compose toons, I don't write lyrics). I like what I've done in the past, but I have no inspiration right now. I'm trying different chord structures like a beginner would....A,D,E and repeat. Do you get this? What do you do? I know it will get better, but for the time being I feel I'm in suspended animation. Hey there's something ...whack a suspended chord in somewhere. It's frustration with a capital F!
Members Emprov
Just start playing. It's a lot easier to edit notes than it is to stare at a blank piece of paper.

Members dDigitalPimp
why dont you try to write lyrics to a song you already recorded?
Members SunofNothing
When i'm really backed up i learn a new song or buy a bass style book like blues bass. You could try jamming with someone, that how i write all my stuff. Or you could go back and listen to some music you haven't heard in a while, that always gets me going. Or new stuff? Or if you wanna be drastic you could not play for a while. Then when you get back to it, its so much better.
Members Detox
Find a nice looking woman in her '40s and have an extended roll in the hay with her. Works like a charm! YMMV
