Members tedmich
Check this tune from the Eklundh Hellborg Art Metal album around 8:15 they turn into a freight train! Lb7wFbOHjAk I dumped it to vidtomp3.com and then fixed the mp3 in Audacity and it sounds GOOD! I may even buy the CD...

Members One Bad Monkey
Jonas is one of my favorite bassists! I've got most his discs Me too. I think my favorite one is Aram of the Two Rivers. Haven't had a chance to pick up Art Metal yet though.
Members Super Bass
I heard so much hype about him and his playing last year. When I listened some songs I was extremely disappointed in what I heard.
Members Yngtchie Blacksteen
I prefer his work with Shawn Lane, especially when he used the electric acoustic bass. Great tone, great playing.

Members wades_keys
I prefer his work with Shawn Lane, especially when he used the electric acoustic bass. Great tone, great playing. Interestingly enough, Shawn Lane has probably influenced me more than Hellborg (not taking anything away from Jonas at all). Lane's use of whole tone scales was just...wow, how do I describe it? He's definitely inspired me to find uses for the whole tone scale, though I don't get much chance to use it with the cover bands I play in. Members One Bad Monkey
I prefer his work with Shawn Lane, especially when he used the electric acoustic bass. Great tone, great playing. The Wechter bass was pretty sweet. A co-worker of mine years back used to also work as a lineman at the Wechter Guitar shop, doing the setups on all of the import ones as they came in. He said Hellborg would ship the bass back for tweaks in the gigbag, wrapped up in an obscene amount of bubblewrap (even though Abe gave him a hardshell case). The few times he got to meet him, he said he was very nice but really, really weird.
