Members Robin
After playing these Curt Mangans (105-85-65-45) for a while now, they seem to have a noticeable bump in the low mids lending to a not-as-rich sound as I had with the stock lighter D'Addarios that came with the bass. Is this a normal thing? Haven't played them in a band setting yet so, I'm not totally giving up on them as they may cut in the mix. Sure, I can dial out some of the lo-mids on the amp but, it still has a honk I'm not too crazy about. They feel fine, save for the increased tension of which I'm not crazy about either.
