Members Onkel Bob
My sister's birthday is coming up and I think Me First and the Gimme Gimmes might be right up her alley. You are a fan right? I like to give her records with people that she don't know at all. Can you suggest a record to give her? I only know songs from myspace and youtube and such. Thanks. Members brake
Don't give her a live one, I've found their live records to be not nearly as good as the studio stuff.

Members Renfield
That's a toughie. I've found that with them, everyone's fav album tends to be based off of what older songs they knew or era they grew up in. For myself, the song collection on "Have A Ball," Blow In the Wind" and "Take A Break" get me the most. All albums have some great tunes though. My advice is to look over the songs on the albums and see what names pop out to you the most. I'd probably avoid "Have Another Ball" and "Ruin Johnny's Bar Mitzvah " entirely to narrow it down to get started. Maybe even "Are A Drag" as well. I think the real genius in them comes out when you know the original songs and can sing along and enjoy it just that much more. So try and look for potential ones of those first. I enjoy "Love Their Country" but it's lower on my favourite list. I found I didn't know most of the songs on it, so it's appeal was far less for me. Having said that, it does contain my absolute fav song of theirs... "She believes in me." That's a personal one going back to my childhood, but I think it's an utter home run from them. It's beyond brilliant in my eyes. If It comes on my mp3 player, I can't not sing it out loud with the biggest {censored} eating grin.
