Members catphish
Wish I could make it out, but I'm still pulling my hair out over this application. Next time for sure. Good luck tonight.

Members chugheshc2
Went great.. I think we had 30 people there. Third band was a no show. I thought I posted this last night though. Might have been too tired. Elbo Room is one of the better small clubs to play at in town - they have a pretty serious PA for such a small space, and they have made an attempt to tame the acoustics in the place. Sound guy was quite good. And they lay out all the ground rules in advance. I played there last about four years ago, and it seems improved since then. I made the mistake of not wearing ear plugs. Never again! Warmup act was Raman Sachdev - really good singer/songwriter guy. My bass is acting up though, I have to get Kindness to give it some love. Thanks for asking! C. Moderators Kindness Posted November 10, 2008 Moderators Share Posted November 10, 2008 If you needed ear plugs, you guys were likely playing too loudly. I never need them on stage at Elbo Room, I always need them in the audience.
Members chugheshc2
I am certain we were playing much too loudly. If I can't hear my 2 X 10, 3 feet away, it's much, much too loud. But Guitar guy and Drummer guy got carried away with the rockstar thing, it was the first gig for this band, and hey, drums and guitars, what can I say. Kindness you got time to cure my bass? hums/bad jack. I could probably do it myself, but you will do it quicker and better. I'm in the loop during the day, if that makes getting it to you any easier.
