I watched, and will keep watching till the very last show.........but it did jump the shark a few seasons ago. Still, ER at it's worst is better than a lot of other crap on TV. The only newish shows I like are Heroes and Family Guy. The first season of Heroes was the best, I don't think the 2nd or the current ar as good. I lied, I like 24 also. Members lonerstoenr
ER was awesome early 90's - ever since they axed the black surgeon (I can't remember his name) who started with the show I wasn't into it. Dr Greene was too much! Shame to think Michael Crichton is now dead!

That's Eriq LaSalle, who played Peter Benton, and I stopped watching when he left, though I think the show jumped the shark before this even. I was really done with it when the helicopter fell on Dr. Romano
Members Tommy Gunz
It was nice to see a few other characters too, Dr Weaver, Jerry, and even Romano - " Hey suck it up, noboy told you to go get cancer!"

Members NitroBobby
sounds like some people are too prone to live in the past. i watch the show with my wife (right now actually, on DVR) . it's gone through several transitions. both good and bad. personally i like the show and i like the path it's headed down now. it's one of the few shows that i watch with any regularity. it's entertaining. oh yeah, that nurse Linda is pretty hot too. Members flatcat
I have left and come back several times during its run. I was wondering what that was about. I watch Heroes and Life. Life is really, really good, I think.

Members Jmarcus2
....but they brought back Dr. Green (Anthony Edwards) and I can't resist. I refused to watch. I know the show "jumped the shark" a few years ago. I swore that I wouldn't watch after the last original Dr. left, but couldn't help myself. (Damn my wife!) But when they killed off Pratt I was done. Anyway, was Anthony good, or just flashback scenes? I hate myself...
