Deschutes Obsidian Stout

It's a good cold weather beer.

And hot weather.

And warm weather.

And medium cool weather.

And sort of warmish in the early afternoon and then a cold front comes in and it kind of cools off for a while and then a nice thunderstorm rolls in and then it clears up again.

Kalamazoo Stout is one of my fav winter beers. Arcadia makes a mean IPA too, but thats more of a spring thing for me.

the only arcadia ive tried so far was the Jaw-Jacker. strange at first but i really liked it. the bells i like most are winter white, best brown, oberon, and double cream stout

payday is tomorrow and that also means time to go to the beer store. what is a good dark brew for the winter months?

should i just pick up a Sam Adams sampler, and my usual Pigseye pilsner?

pilsner????

i wont drink a pilsner unless it's like 99 degrees out

you should be looking for words like "porter" "stout" and "barleywine"

and numbers like 8,9,10% abv
