Two different situations but essentially. no to both. If you're gonna claim ownership of a territory the least you could do is take care of it (tibet).

Taiwan is a case of very rich chinese buissinessmen going you know what mainland. {censored} you we'll do it our way, not that they didn't have a good reason. Communism is PROVEN NOT TO WORK and isn't acceptable these days.

Hey man, I've lived in Taiwan for the past 5 years.

 

People here have Taiwanese currency, a Taiwanese government, Taiwanese passports, etc. In fact it's impossible to get a Chinese passport here.

 

So, you know, ask your Chinese mates why you can't get a Chinese passport in Taiwan if it's Chinese. I'd love to know what they say.

 

P.S. I don't give a {censored} about politics either way. Just stating the facts.
