Is his band still gigging much? Ha, nice! 9/10. Biz is going good! We're doing a bridal show in January and hopefully that will drum up some new business. Maggie will be spoiled rotten for Christmas this year. She loves the tree. It's so crazy watching her grow up. Lots of new words and she has quite the personality. SARios's band is not gigging at the moment. They're looking for a new guitarist right now. How is YOUR little one???

My little one is spending the day dressed up in a red velvet dress with white fur trimmings. She's delivering cookies and treats with my wife to her clients. Today was the first day when I looked at her and said "Daddy's gotta go to work now" that she stopped what she was doing and walked over and gave me a hug. OK. I melted just a bit. So she's going to be a spoiled Daddy's girl.

I'm just dreading the days when she's 15 and tells us she hates us because we don't like her new boyfriend.

Moderators ThudMaker Posted December 11, 2008 Author Moderators Share Posted December 11, 2008 This is just around the corner for me. Somehow I think your daughter will be just fine. But they sure do grow up too fast, don't they?
Members Renfield
This is just around the corner for me. I'm at the halfway point (8), but he's a boy. Hey Dan, as everyone has said, do your best to deal with things now, but know that they will improve... only to be replaced by some other "terribles." For me the time has just flown since he was 2. He's really starting to develop a personality now, which just amazes me to watch unfold. He's now old enough that I can say pretty much anything to him, in any way, and he comprehends me, which is pretty cool. Last night was utterly hilarious. I had eaten East Indian food for lunch, when I got home I had to make a trek to the washroom. I sent him in about 10 minutes later to wash up for dinner and I hear (at the top of his lungs) "EEWWWW!!!! It stinks in here!" I busted a gut laughing my ass off. First thing through my mind, "That just made everything up until now worth it." Second thought... "I need to tell Dan about this, there is a bright spot to child rearing, he needs to hear that too." True story.
