Members Cliff Fiscal
...I think about selling something......play the thing one last time.....while I'm polishing it up. Love the tone, grow even more attached and feel remorseful about wanting ditch it. Inevitably making me want to keep it.

I really enjoy that natural wood/black pickguard scheme. I have 5 guitars/basses with that scheme.
Members GRANKOR
not the colour my good man, I owned this but sadly had to sell it. I love natural/black guard. I just think the T40 doesnt look good I'll be getting another when I can justify it, probably a Japanese one though next time
Members fealach
If you sell it and change your mind years later, you either won't be able to find one, or the only ones in good condition will cost too much and be on Ebay, where you really can't believe anything til the item's in your hands. Members Renfield
I just want a full set of T-40 pups and electronics so I can drop them into a chambered jazz bass. I gots major back issues big time these days. Probably selling off most of my heavier gear and going lightweight/neo.

Meh. They've held steady at around $250-300 for the better part of a decade now, they aren't going up much in value.
Members Cliff Fiscal
See....I don't care for the look of that Jazz bass....I like more of a yellowly look.....or like Bruce Springsteen's Tele. DAMN YOU MTV!! -I doubt I'd want it back as I grow older......since it would kill my back.

Members Cliff Fiscal
I have at least 5-10 things listed for sale right now....and I'm having second thoughts about all of them. I don't play the damn things for a month....then I pull them out to photograph them.....play them one last time and I fall in love! :arg: WTF! Members Reverend179
Yeah and I'm pretty sure that mine is for sale a lot cheaper than yours. Honestly, if you like it, keep it. You've got a connection to THAT instrument. Even if you sell it, and then at a later date get the hankerin' for another T-40, it won't feel the same. Members Cliff Fiscal
I do like it..... ....slap sounds best on teh T-40. The connection is that it was my first real bass....... I have 3 other basses now...all different, and all have their own attributes.
