Members Ender_rpm
Saw it in the theatre, was Ok, but totally cheese ball. I tried to understand why the older ones were so good, and this one so bad,so I rewatched all of them. They were all pretty bad, but I was 8, so it was about the coolest thing evar So now I just enjoy it for what it is, a cheesy homage to the saturday serial/action hero genre. It aint art, its Indy
Members bluedogaudio
It was OK, not the greatest film, but I was still entertained.
Members burdizzos
The other ones were campy and goofy, but the new one is just plain bad. I was kind of excited to see Karen Allen back as Marion, but the film failed.

Members JeffBass
I'm getting a little tired of Hollywood excess when it comes to visual and sound effects. For one thing, it's quite tiresome that so many actors speak in monotone and/or quiet speaking voices just to setup the inevitable LOUD sound effect that's designed to jolt you from your seat. In classic films the actors speak clearly because what they are saying is what makes the movie. Now Hollywood is all about cheap thrills, anti-war posturing and ridiculous, over-the-top effects and behavior. Some of the sound effects are downright stupid! I read in the paper that Hollywood is the second leading polluter in the state of California, right behind energy production (which is a necessity). This is why I can't stand it when these actors are scream and cry about global warming. F*cking hypocrites. I'm also learning that some film critics are completely unreliable when it comes to rating movies. Roger Ebert sucks, I don't even read his columns anymore. If a movie had GWB as a baby-eating devil worshipper he would give it 4 stars. He'll spend 3/4's of his artcile panning a movie, then he gives it 2.5 stars. Members Super_Donut_Man
:two thumbs down: What a horrible film. That is all. I almost walked out after the nuke/fridge scene. Had I just been there with my wife, I would have left.

Members lokidecat
I cant bring myself to watch it Same. The franchise ended for me with Ford and Connery riding off into the sunset after finding out (OMGZ) that Indiana was the dog's name!
Members Tedddy
One of the worst films i've ever seen. I'd rather watch Jar-Jar Binks.

Members JeffBass
On the other hand I did enjoy the new version of The Day the Earth Stood Still. Pretty interesting flick. Makes me want to rent the original again.
Members Mytola
I didn't really think it was a bad film. Cheesy and a bit over the top sometimes, but Indiana Jones always was. It's supposed to be rather light entertainment, not a hugely deep and intelligent drama.
Members PaulyWally
I tried to understand why the older ones were so good, and this one so bad For me... a lot of it was the crappy CG. Jurassic Park came out 15 years ago and had much better CG than Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. 'Course, if Lucas was in charge of the CG (which I assume he was)... that explains it. He did some amazingly magical FX back in the day with miniatures. He should have stuck with it. Cause he really isn't very good with digital. ...IMO
Members Hotblack
I'd rather watch Jar-Jar Binks. Ok. I realize that we're all a little emotional, but let's just calm down. No one has to watch Jar-Jar Binks.
Members willsellout
yeah it sucked and it was even worse when all the action shots were shot far away so that they could use a stunt double. Although Harrison Ford looks to be in better shape at 70 than I am at 30:facepalm:
