Members Don MC
Many of you fine people have bad backs. So do I. I believe I've mentioned earlier that I've had two surgeries to my ruptured disc in the past 3 years. Well, now it's acting up again. Went to the doctor's the other day and he ordered me on sick leave until the end of January. I also have to take strong medication for the pain, and medication for the medication, so that I won't get an ulcer of all the pain killers. So now you're stuck with me online 24/7 for a full month, people!

Members Goofball Jones
Sweet. Here if you have something like that, the HMO's will give you some aspirin and tell you to GET BACK TO WORK!

Members Don MC
Sweet. Here if you have something like that, the HMO's will give you some aspirin and tell you to GET BACK TO WORK! I'd tell them to stick that aspirin and go bobsaget themselves with the glass of water. Doesn't work that way over here. Social security will take care of my salary as long as I'm on sick leave. If I {censored} up my back for good, I'll be put on retirement and they'll pay me pension for the rest of my life. The cheaper way in the long run is to make me fit for work again. Even if it takes a month. That's why they aim to cure people instead of driving them towards early retirement. I see we got rid of Thumper for a whole month. Any more people you want me to scare away? :poke:
Members poomwah
Don, really sorry to hear about the back problems, that totally sucks. good to have you on board though
Members Don MC
Thanks. It does suck. Sometimes I wish it would be an arm or a leg. That way I would be able move the rest of my body, except for the injured limb. But with a bad back, the whole body is affected. Everything pivots around the back. Move a finger and it hurts. Well, at least I can play my bass(es), for short whiles at a time. My problem seems a little puny now that Giddry has 3 broken fingers and all. All the best to her.
