Members T. Alan Smith
I had this idea of having a looper pedal synced to a drum machine, and being able to kick one of the other in or out during a live performance. Of all the looper pedals out there, none have MIDI sync. I was even thinking of going with the sampler Electribe(Korg) drum machine and not only program my own patterns, but record my own sample library...you know, to keep up the integrity. I might feel bad if I even remotely understood what it is you're talking about. Meet me at Champs tonight (Schaumburg) and we'll sing the, "I Ain't Got No Midi Blues". Or better yet some cyber-Santana, "I ain't got no midi, that I can sync up to".. (drum machine set to "Latin").

Members T. Alan Smith
If you're willing to spend the dough, a Repeater will work. Well, besides the upgraded looper, I've got to invest in the drum machine as well as the loudspeaker(see other thread), etc....
Members T. Alan Smith
.. (drum machine set to "Latin"). NOOO! ALWAYS do all your own programming. I'm getting a sampling drum machine so I can record my own drum samples, even.

Members Texas Noise Factory
I ended up getting an updated EH 16 second delay. Its got MIDI out at least! Are you getting a Machine Drum T. Alan?
Members undergod12
The electro-harmonix 2880 will do MIDI sync but it is more of a desktop unit. I think there is some sort of a foot controller available for it.
Members undergod12
Speaking of loopers, I'm currently refurbishing a friend's DL4: I was thinking about how cool that would look in a plexiglass case.

Alan? Well, now that I need an active loudspeaker and the upgraded looper pedal to go along with it all, I might hold off on the machinedrum for now. At one time, I gave the Korg ESX1 a close look, and was reasonably impressed with the bang for buck factor, and looking at it for now.
