Members ToeJamFootball
Hey guys, been a while, made the move south, all is good Just fired up my SVT yesterday since making the move. I noticed that the BIAS 1 LED is not lit at all. Both Red and Green light up briefly as the amp is switched on, but then BIAS 1 fades and only BIAS 2 remains green. Should I be worried? Thanks

Members misterhinkydink
All bias controls and indicators should be put under the chassis where users can't see or get to them.

Members ToeJamFootball
what does the manual say ? It says some stuff about what to do when only Red lights up, but nothing about no green LED. I don't think it matters, and the tubes are glowing evenly. It sounds like there is no top end, but the rig is sitting in a corner of a room, and I'm thinking maybe we didn't use the right switch when installing EMGs in my bass and maybe the batteries are going flat... Actives need special switches right? EDIT: Replace the words Swich and Switches with Jack and Jacks, respectivley.
Members ToeJamFootball
Nevermind, the green light is there, just not as bright as the other. I moved the rig and it sounds right again Thanks anyway guys

Yeah, I had a look back at one of my EMG thread and read this, thanks I had a look and the Jack is right, I figured it out though, it's just a different sounding room mostly I think. High set with wooden floors....
