Okay, outgoing President Jorge W. Bush has starting issuing pardons. Who will get them?

So far, former Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean have gotten the treatment. To be fair, Bush just commuted their sentences, but at least they're out of prison. I would've preferred a full pardon, but a commutation is better than nothing.

I wonder if he's going to pull and Bill Clinton quality pardons. It's hard for me to believe that he has any respect or credibility anymore, considered who he pardoned his last day in office.

Again. Bush has to ADMIT wrong doings to get a pardon. You really think dubya and his crime family are going to admit to it? the incoming president can't just say "okay you're pardoned for.. uh.. anything you might've done and have blanket immunity for any transgressions during your presidency."

No.

Bush has to say, "I started an illegal war. I did warrantless wiretapping. These are all the CRIMES I want to be pardoned for."

Not happening.

Double EDIT:

I see now you were referring to what pardons Bush might do. Don't know. I was thinking about the Ford/Nixon situation.

With two sets of twins, some could say your numbers are misleading.

But then, there's something about quality over quantity, too. Hmm...

For my faternals, you hit the tree hard enough, two eggs will fall. For my identicals, my swimmers are so strong, they cracked that egg in half when they hit it!

Does he? Did Nixon admit to any wrongdoing?

Oh {censored}. You're right. I am wrong.

Now, therefore, I, Gerald R. Ford, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from July (January) 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.

That's from Ford's speech.

Apparently they can issue blanket pardons.
