Pedal questions...

I purchased a Pro-tone Raven Chrous Pedal. I know it it supposed to be a chorus pedal with the option to engage a little fuzz, but it seems like all I get when I plug the pedal in is a loud hiss. This hiss is annoying , does anyone know if this is a defect or if there is a way to correct it? should I go thru the effects loop and not the amps input? Is just sounds dirty.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's true bypass so it shouldn't be doing that... It's an expensive pedal so I would assume/hope it's made with quality parts.

Make sure you're not plugging the input/output into the wrong sides
:D

Funny but I thought the same thing...I figured since it was handmade maybe they labled it wrong..

reversing your input and output cables won't hurt anything and might be worth a try to make sure the pedal's not mislabled.

if that doesn't do it - it's time to send it back.
