Secret Mission: The Groove Crucible

Hello good people!

Around 1am, the site went online and it can be announced that TheGrooveCrucible is being brought into existence.

I want to be careful and be clear that my intent isn't to shake $$ out of forumites. If you want to participate ... welcome. But there are only 30 spots and this isn't a for-profit venture. Any way ...

Right now, I'm open to feedback, questions, moral support, warnings, etc.

One person warned me about his experience hosting a program and he said he'd never do it again, insisting that he's the only one who didn't have fun. But it sounded like his leadership style create much of his problems.

So, this is an exciting day: announcement of taking on something like TheGrooveCrucible ... in addition to my other project donating 2700 bras.

Damn! Why isn't some adult questioning what I'm doing with my life? Shouldn't I be in embalming school or otherwise making something of myself?

Seriously, this is fun, and I want to express appreciation for Catphish, Kindness, Funkee1 and DRF for their support and contributions.

Awesome, I hope it goes over well. Looks like you've already put a lot of work into this.
:thu:

Lots of work. But the real work begins now.

Gotta bring in one more bass coach and one more drum coach. Haven't been able to get in touch with a drummer whom I know would be a great addition.

I would absolutely do this provide I wouldn't be in over my head. I've got school all day on May 23.

BTW, $225 is STUPIDLY cheap.

In case there's a school cancellation ...

It'd be tough to be in over your head with the program. The one thing that Anthony Wellington insists is that people come to work.

The reason for targeting intermediate and advanced players is the past experience they'll bring and the questions that'll be asked. A true beginner would just have to trust in the significance of the war stories, and the have faith in the drills they'll go through.

Cheap? I just want to cover the costs. Hopefully that happens. Or, I might have to go, hat-in-hand to Congress and ask for a GrooveCrucible bailout.
