Hmmm...

I've had only a few from that menu.

The Sierra Nevada Bigfoot is actually pretty good, but will definitely have you gettin' your swerve-on right away. I think it's 9% alcohol.

Modelo Negra, I haven't had any in quiet some time, but it's a darker brew, closer to Guinness but not nearly as hearty. The pale Modelo is closer to a german brew (where all Mexican beer stems from), kind of skunky.

Surprised to see Sol on there. I drank plenty of those in Mexico, and haven't seen it since my last trip. It's not a remarkable beer (pretty much another Corona-type beer), but if I went to a bar and saw it on the menu, I'd definitely get one for nostalgic reasons.

Redhook, I'd definitely try one of those. Especially if you need a beer to nurse, in case you're driving.

I'm jealous.

Lots of great beers on the menu. I'm a huge fan of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and Bells Two-Hearted Ale. I'm about the hops.

Just how hoppy are you?

If you really really really love hops, this is the Holy Grail:

I had two sips and couldn't finish it. Awful. But you may love it. It's a mother-f'n hop OD.

{censored} yeah! I'm on it. My local store carries Victory though I've never seen this one. He got me some Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, so I'm sure he can deliver this one.

I didn't even look at the whole list. Here's a few more that I've tried and would buy again:

Three Floyd's Alpha King Ale (one of my faves)

Victory Golden Monkey (you'll either love or hate it)

Stone's Arrogant Bastard (just because)

If you like Russian Imperial Stouts, Old Rasputin is a winner.

For bottles, anything from Rogue, Red Hook or Sierra Nevada. Willsellout hates Rogue, so ignore anything he has to say about them. :poke:

As for drafts, I'd hesitate to make a suggestion. A great draft beer poorly handled and stored won't stand up to an average tap beer that's been treated right.

I do not hate Rogue beers, how dare you! I simply think they are far from the best brewery in Oregon. I'd probably rank them in the top 10 breweries but they'd be near the bottom of the list.

I also hate the sheep that follow along with whatever Rogue does and the snobbish attitudes that come along with them.

It's $12.00 on that menu (and others in my old burg in Virginia), but the Rochefort Trappiste 10 is my favorite beer in the world.

The German list there is pretty paltry, IMO, with one exception.

Franziskaner Hefe is pretty good, but Krombacher Hefeweizen (not offered) is the best Hefe I've found in Germany so far.

On that list, I love K
