That's pretty amusing :D

Now having said that, her ass better get fired. If it was a Spanish judge up there saying that {censored} she'd be gone. If people get pissed off over a *shock jockey* saying "nappy headed hoes", then there is certainly NO leeway for a JUDGE.

Not to mention uh, ya know, being DRUNK. I bet she's layed the hammer down and lectured many of those caught with DD.

I agree with this assessment.

it pisses me off that there are double standards just because she is a judge

OMO she deserves a stiffer sentence because she is supposed to be in place to uphold the law:mad:

Absolutely.

I don't think anyone is going to disagree with you either; except for her friends doing the sentencing.

I guess being in the black robe club has its advantages, not only do you get to make the laws but you get off Scott free when you break them:rolleyes:

Have to agree.
This page
shows sentencing guidelines for CT DUI offenses. This is an attorney's .com site though, not a .gov so they are interpreting CT's laws for this site.

Looks as if she should have a minimum of a 6mo license suspension for refusing to submit to a blood-alchohol test. But since the charges would be dismissed on condition of completing the "education" program, I'm guessing even that magically goes away.

I wonder if there's any real hue and cry going up in that area over this, or if it's just getting the media sweep under the rug treatment.

If only this was in Chicago, then she could just boycott the trial because it is not fair...:D

If it's being published in the Hartford Courant (the oldest continually published newspaper -- since 1764), then it'll definitely be on the local news tonight. The question will be, which one will get reported first, Mayor Eddie Perez's indictment for kickbacks or this judge.

As for a Chicago connection, The Hartford Courant is owned by the Tribune Company. :D
